Achieving a Work-Life Balance

We recognize the challenges facing employees on a day-to-day basis. With everything from meeting the needs and demand of families, to working, to keeping in shape, employees want and need to achieve a work-life balance.

At Avisar, we hire people, not social security numbers on a W-2. We make every effort to work with our employees on ways to improve their work-life balance. And our employees recognize our efforts. As a result of our dedication to our employees, they give their “all” to Avisar and ultimately our clients.

Avisar’s employees enjoy options such as flexible hours, telecommuting, and support for continuing education. Our employees are our greatest assets. We encourage them to come to us with any problems. After all, we’re in the business of providing solutions. There is always a solution that works for employer and employee both. It just takes both sides working together.

Telecommuting
There is no steadfast rule regarding telecommuting at Avisar. We work with our employees on a one-on-one basis, trying to find the best solution for each employee, just as we do for our clients. Many of our employees work at our client locations or an Avisar office, while others work remotely.

Full-Time vs. Part-Time
While most of our employees work full-time, we do hire some professionals on a part-time basis. Please let us know your needs at the time you apply for a position.

Flexible Hours
Whenever possible, our project managers and office managers allow employees to use flexible hours. We want to provide excellent service to our clients, not make a 9 – 5 rule for the sake of what some consider “normal." While it is true that our hours are somewhat affected by our clients' hours of operation, we are flexible whenever possible.

Continuing Education
We highly encourage and support all employees in their continuing education both in technical and business programs. To ensure our employees maintain their certifications and are able to advance their skills, we offer flexibility of schedules and, in some cases, pay a portion of the program.
